What does this mean? That it will come with a new FI map?

Can you post a sound file of the engine being revved with the Leo Vince installed?

Put me down on your list of interested people.

I'm still in negotiatians on pricing and trying to get free shipping for everyone, also checking on the spark arrestor insert a $49 value that hopefully they can throw in on the deal

Basically they engineer the pipes for best performance and put them on the Dyno to show power gains vs OEM, I'll see if I can dig up a dyno graph and post it later. Here's a short video on pipe production if your interested, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0kLbcQZk5o

Bub Murruy performed his magic on my silencer.I love the sound and the bike BARKS now.I love the sound.I did the 15 minute idle after installation. At first the bike stalled often at idle and still does on occasion.Bob said the bike runs lean from the factory and most likely is running even leaner now that the exhaust is opened up more. The ECM seemed to compensate somewhat but I have a feeling I am at the edge of the mapping that the ECM can't negotiate any further.I will this week get a new map downloaded from my dealer and will see how it goes.
I might for grins order Bob's handmade silencer as well.He is a great guy to talk to if you ever get the chance.

Order placed already and I managed to squeeze in a couple more after deadline. If you wanted to order an exhaust now it wouldn't apply to the group buy but can be done through the website, www.renazco.com
Those who have already ordered should have their pipes by the end of September.

Boe, is this true? I'm very unhappy with the dB level on my LV and when I called the importer they said they only had one insert - the one it came with.

I'm making the effort to modify mine to quieten it down but would prefer to buy a ready made one. To be honest, if I can't get the pipe quieter, its coming off.

Yes 4 inserts come with the X3 series but not the SBK like you have unfortunately.

Are you close by? You can stop by my place and we can try the other db inserts I have here, they should bolt right in.
I'm very happy with the tone coming out of my pipe but then again I'm using a different insert then you have.

:scratch They don't make an X3 for the 690 (or am I confused - as usual). I'm a little too far to stop by but thanks for the offer :thumb
