    Hello again,
following the suggestion to start threads indexed on public interest issues here are the pictures from the screen I use on mine.
It is a KTM SuperDuke Power Part!

when mounting I recoommend to check back side of lamp mask for location of holes to be drilled.
I did not and (Murphys law!) hit exactly the little "rain gutter" .....works anyway.

now that you've had your E for quite some time stefan, have you found any probs with your tank like some of the US riders have. i havent seen many european complaints on the tank thread, maybe just maybe it might only be a certain batch for the US that gives probs. screen must be a + will fit one to mine someday

Everything in Texas is bigger. Now, after a run on the concrete I have to clean the windscreen. Before all I had to do is brush my teeth.

I used the 690SM windscreen. Mounting holes in slightly different places.

My 690e touring windscreen (KTM Hardparts) finally came in a couple of days ago.

A word of caution; don't rely on the included template for where to drill the holes. It is way off. Haven't had a chance to see how it does at speed yet.

Here is a LL on my wifes SMC. It is the shield for a 950SM. Works good for her. I would need to have more vertical angle to protect my taller stance.

Its nice to see this version of it (black mask & fender) + the enduro/SMC screen. I just got the 690SM version for my enduro, and appears to be a little wider & a little shorter? Anyways, I like the black headlight mask with that setup!

Does it help? I am looking for a screen for my 690E. It actually works well without a screen up to 65. It would be nice to take some of the wind off of the upper body at highway speeds. My old F650 Dakar with both the stock and Wunderlich screens had really bad head buffeting over 60. I ended up taking the screen off of the F650. I am concerned that I will see the same thing with the 690E.

Just finished 4 days at Big Bend and the new windscreen worked well. We had lots of windy days and the screen, though not all that high, significantly reduces the pressure on the upper body. I had no buffeting problems with either of the helmets I used during the ride (open faced MX with goggles and a full faced with visor up or down). Nothing but smooth air. I'm 6'4" and have a tall Renazco seat, but the windscreen seems to be well designed from an air flow point of view.

I'm using the 690SM one on my 690e, and like above poster said, it does relieve enough chest pressure to make a difference at highway speeds (not great, but enough). Have not noticed any buffeting (I'm 6'...).

    DirtJack,

Thanks for the info. It is extremely helpful. It is great to get info from people actually using a product. Sounds like the screen for me.
