The Rally looked great to me, til I found out the seat height: 38". In the words of Kramer, "I'm out!" :cry

The KTM690 Rallye is not an average bike. It is a purpose built rallye racing machine. It was never ment to do anything else, it probably could but it never had a different purpose. They are made in very limited quantities and never made to be cheap. They use only the best parts and you would be hard pressed to find another bike that has a better workmanship. Because of this they are well out of the range of regualr riders (think 25,000USD new).

They carry lots of fuel and produce a tremendous amount of power. They come with or ready for rallye navigation. Most of the things on this bike would not really be necessary for anything other than a full on race bike. Fun to look at but rarely within the average person's grasp.

EDIT: 690cc or there abouts. 102mmx80mm

I have had the TT skidplate with the tool box for five years. I wrap extra bolts and special tools in a heavy gauge plastic bag, then inner tubing. Not much room at all. Looks like access and storage may be even more limited on this skidplate.

    Greetings,
    Thanks for the info.
I'd also like to hear from the OP as to the cost of the bike in Greece. Perhaps the price would be less in other parts of the world (non-US), that could justify a fly-n-ride :evil
