Finally getting out for a ride after a canadian winter is life saving.
Ferry across the Mekong river in Pakbeng, Laos.
950 adv 2005/6 model + all usual extras
"It is used off road" ( not legal in Scotland to go off road, but to hang with the powers that be ! )
I commute to work every day on it ( @ 90'ish mph )
I bike all year round ( and no faults, some glitches as usual )
It does around 140/150 miles per tank before reserve ( running akro,s and no sas or epc )
It munches pirelli Scorpions ( still a pretty decent all round tyre apart from when its on wet grass )
Run standard tooth sprockets ( stealth rear, JT front, with DID chain )
Touring screen ( doesn't buffer any more or less than any other bike i have owned )
iI think that the 950 is the better of the two models ( personal choice ) but I would ride any off them with a big race developed smile on my face so Thank you KTM.

I had to turn around at the snow line and on the way back I had a little difficulty in some slick mud with my Scorpions!

Luckily I had an extra mirror back in my garage and except for a few bruises it was a free crash.
I love this bike. This is going to be a good summer. It is great to be home!
I might be biased but... Love the paint scheme.
Welcome home, thanks for serving and enjoy that bike!
We're having an unusually warm Spring this year which is fine by me 'cause I've been itchin' to take this big fellow out!
