My GPS and heated grips
Needs one of my HID's mounted in front.
Hey Blue! Nice looking bike. I'm going to be getting mine around end Feb. Wonder if you mind me picking your brains a bit?
What make of heated grips have you used?
What mount for your GPS?
Any other info relevant for UK 950's?
Yo Tribeless.....how much are you loving the 950????? Don't they suck Gotta get together soon and pound some dirt. We will be doing a spring ride up to Hunter N.Y. to do some off road hunting. You better join us on that one. Oh by the way. Nice Bike
Hi.....Pick my brains as much as you like cos i aint got much!!
i aint that far from you (NW Leics).
The heated grips are Oxford hot grips....35quid(simple to install....using the acc2 plug NOT the battery...takes about 20mins to install and very worthwhile ).Link to the ones i bought off ebay(guy sells ALL oxford stuff cheap and lives in Whitwick).
The GPS.......Garmin 2620(not meant to be installed on the bike but i bought it for the car origionally).Anyway its the plastic mounting piece been stuck down with double sided sticky pads(not the cheapo ones!!) and a strip of stick on velcro on the screen to hold it steady!!(who needs touratech?? ).
The power source comes from the acc1 plugs(these are behind the headlight and labelled and fused@5AMP.....fuses interchangeable to suit ampage required).I simply put a plastic covered car cigarette lighter part(female part)inside the cubby box between the filler caps and plug the GPS in inside there!
Has that been turned into one of those opening home page pictures?
or post on the gs pot page!!!!!
This is Daves Bike
Dude that's K2Ride's ride. Im still trying to put one together. Im retiring the gs from offroad duty and figuring out what to get for offroading with the likes of you ducky and OCF.
Hopefully I'll have something by the spring.
not seen one this colour before. Is it a custom job?
Damn I thought you jumped on that one in Kentucky?? Tennesse?? I don't know......... Hope you hook up with something. Preferably a 950 Talk to you soon. Happy New Year.
nah, surely it's a photoshop manipulation. no-one would really do that to a 950, would they?
i wonder, how these eliptical wheels are going to work:) or maybe that is my display resolution:)
My 950 in desert downunder
Yess! But don't put in a larger than 5amp fuse. The wires to and from that fuse are very thin and will not take more than 5 amps (safely)
This photo was on the front page when I opened the site today!
This is from the "Lost Coast", very fun ride.
The day in october when i picked up my new friend from the dealer
The sign says: Narrow road, drive slow.
