Hey Blue! Nice looking bike. I'm going to be getting mine around end Feb. Wonder if you mind me picking your brains a bit?

What make of heated grips have you used?
    What mount for your GPS?

Any other info relevant for UK 950's?

    Many thanks

Hi.....Pick my brains as much as you like cos i aint got much!!
i aint that far from you (NW Leics).
The heated grips are Oxford hot grips....35quid(simple to install....using the acc2 plug NOT the battery...takes about 20mins to install and very worthwhile:nod ).Link to the ones i bought off ebay(guy sells ALL oxford stuff cheap and lives in Whitwick).

The GPS.......Garmin 2620(not meant to be installed on the bike but i bought it for the car origionally).Anyway its the plastic mounting piece been stuck down with double sided sticky pads(not the cheapo ones!!) and a strip of stick on velcro on the screen to hold it steady!!(who needs touratech??:lol3 ).
The power source comes from the acc1 plugs(these are behind the headlight and labelled and fused@5AMP.....fuses interchangeable to suit ampage required).I simply put a plastic covered car cigarette lighter part(female part)inside the cubby box between the filler caps and plug the GPS in inside there!

Dude that's K2Ride's ride. Im still trying to put one together. Im retiring the gs from offroad duty and figuring out what to get for offroading with the likes of you ducky and OCF.

Hopefully I'll have something by the spring.

Yess! But don't put in a larger than 5amp fuse. The wires to and from that fuse are very thin and will not take more than 5 amps (safely)
