    Hi everybody.
I'm a KTM 640ADV rider, but I'm bothering you with my questions and I'm not even a member of this thread yet... just imagine the near future... :D

I have been offered a 990ADV S 2007. The bike is in good health and looks good, for the moment the only issue I have to deal with is it has 58.000Kms/36.000mi.
Based on your vast experience, what would you say about it: they are too many, half the way, or life has just began.... ( of course, we are talking about well maintained bikes, according to KTM specifications)

My 640ADV has 50.000Kms/31.000mi on the clock, it goes just fine and I have a good idea about the lifecycle of the LC4 engine. What about the LC8?

What current owner tells me is:
-- no problem so far but not serviced: suspensions, clutch, water pump, wheels bearings
-- serviced: whole clutch master cylinder (replaced)

Is there some kind of maintainance records of the failures and non std services you all have been experiencing/doing?

Thanks to your help, I hope I will be able to know if the price is ok, and if it is, been a brand new proud 990 rider, what to expect from now on.
    Thanks in advance,
    Cheers!
    .

Bond, James Bond. A true ADV rider needs at least six location finder whizzbangs and a minimum of four mirrors. It's in the handbook.

My wife and I were out riding our 990's today in North Central Oregon near Shaniko.
