A great series of pictures. Nice, very nice.
Was at the track this afternoon with themuffinman - good to see you graham
Had some fun this past weekend in the Cascades!
Nothing makes a MX bike go faster than having its rider look back and see the mighty Katoom breathing down its neck, either that or they pull over out of fear in a wtf moment! Sadly, mine only made it to the track once this year.

Nice pic Craig! Did you get any of the arsehole ranger?
No, But I guess the extra 40 min to climb in and out of the valley to get our $5 park pass was worth it.
What I don't get is.... There are sell pay booths and signs, but there was no place to get deposit envelope or a place to deposit it, and then why didn't the ranger just have a Box of these in his Jeep so we could pay him???
Government systems amaze me some times, even the ranger at the Entrance Booth was shocked when we told him this.
All in all is was a Great trail ride, and we never saw him again as we enjoyed our "spirited" ride along the White Rim.
This one's for you Geek.
this one goes on the cover.....Sweet shot!!
Damn Government systems Craig :)
You should have ridden the 950 out there with you!!
I'm a KTM 640ADV rider, but I'm bothering you with my questions and I'm not even a member of this thread yet... just imagine the near future...
I have been offered a 990ADV S 2007. The bike is in good health and looks good, for the moment the only issue I have to deal with is it has 58.000Kms/36.000mi.
Based on your vast experience, what would you say about it: they are too many, half the way, or life has just began.... ( of course, we are talking about well maintained bikes, according to KTM specifications)
My 640ADV has 50.000Kms/31.000mi on the clock, it goes just fine and I have a good idea about the lifecycle of the LC4 engine. What about the LC8?
What current owner tells me is:
-- no problem so far but not serviced: suspensions, clutch, water pump, wheels bearings
-- serviced: whole clutch master cylinder (replaced)
Is there some kind of maintainance records of the failures and non std services you all have been experiencing/doing?
Thanks to your help, I hope I will be able to know if the price is ok, and if it is, been a brand new proud 990 rider, what to expect from now on.
Thanks in advance,
Your photography skills are as usual
It's a long time since I have discovered this forum and thanks to all of you I currently own my Katoom for about 1 year and 20k kms
Time to show off my bike
Zimbabwe, Africa, 2012.
I want to go back to Africa...
Anyone care to give me the tutorial on this setup?
It's nice, but I don't get it?
A little day trip through the mountains, I was heading to Salida but some how got a little distracted and spent the day in the Rio grand and san juan mountains.
