Traveling the Bigfoot Byway out of Happy Camp California last Wednesday.
I like. Some pics have me leaning back and banging through the gears on some heavy throttle......
That is too cool, i'd be happy to get my wife on the back of mine.
I think its an Adventure 950 or 990. It sure has 2 side fuel tanks.
Yeah I am pretty proud of her. After putting on over 11,000 miles on her G650gs single cyl. she said she wanted a little more power and a more comfortable ride on long distances. I found a great deal on a used 990r so we lower my 990 for her. (seat and fork triple clamps.) Lucky she has long legs (32in. inseam). She is almost flat footed, 1/2" at the heel) She loves it. It also nice to have the same bike for spares and such. Selling her GS.
We hit a nice long gravel road on the return and was trying to get some video shots. She has to learn to deal with the shorter turning radius on the narrow lane gravel road u-turns. G650gs turned much tighter. She will get it.
We love riding together and your don't know how many other M/C's guys have told me how lucky I am. We'll keep that a secret, right.
ps : also put the KTM throttle cam system on it and it is so smooth off the bottom with the mellow cam.
Hope my wide doesn't see this, she loves little Donkeys/Burrows and Motos and we have very little room for one!
For goodness sakes Dude, wash that thing!

GREAT stuff Rolling Stone.
Doing what it does best GREAT BIKES
I've seen that section of rocks in more pictures here than any other section of trail. That the only dirt road in Wales or something? Looks like fun.
2003 950 S de-stocked.
Akra's, FCR's, custom rally tail, custom graphics and other tidbits.
Bike. Hooligan. Friend.
4.5 years, 99,000km on the clock. Wheelied, stoppied, slid, stolen, found, dropped and picked up again.
And for it's 10th birthday, the orange folks decided to go down a different path and kill production.
I think I'll keep mine. This bike is for the soul.
Cheers to you all
Fair play, i have ridden that road a few times on an EXC, it takes some getting up on a BIG bike!
Rutland Rigg is nice and fast further on though
Not Wales fella, that was in the Yorkshire area 130 odd miles the other way
Great fun though.
The trails up that way are IMO perfect for the big 950, nice and fast as you say but enough to keep it interesting in places. Great place to ride and a beautiful part of the UK.
My back yard!
