I like the pic of the ktm in front of all the beemers.
We found this company www.motoadventours.com run by a Swedish gal and her partner Dakar rider Patrick Trahan. They kindly let us store some gear there as well as swapping our tyres over. Really helpful and friendly folk (despite the Beemers )
Can't understand this from KTM.... they present it in the note like a big deal, and is just a couple of Baja decals away from the usual 990... (the accesories doesn't count, they are already available).
Perhaps their way of hedging their bets in N.A. market in case the 1190 flops
Mates, just to say the new battery arrived yesterday, installed it and the bike is up & running!
Thanks for all the responses I received to my help call
VERY pleased to hear that was the issue.
Now get out and ride!!!
Enjoy, Ride safe.
Oh yes, rubRsidedown, that's the idea.
I'm looking to cross Los Andes to Chile this weekend, in order to get some parts for the bike from KTM Chile.
I still have to correctly present my bike here. Hope I can do it soon.
Back at work after a fun weekend of riding.
They were quite turbulent days for me here, so just today I can correctly present my bike: a 2007 KTM 990 Adventure, "S" version.
She's like any other bike, but... she's mine...
So here go some pics which show her as I bought it, except for the screen (was stock translucid) and a non KTM panniers rack which is gone. Sorry they are at home for the moment, not the landscapes she deserves.
I have changed her look already with a Crispy Designs Decal Kit (will post pics later), and I'm looking for crossing Los Andes to Chile this weekend, for a water pump rebuild (preventive), other checks and also a few farkles at KTM
Glad to be "in"
time to grow up

Where did you pick up the little model!? that's awesome!
Here is what my wonderful wife got me for my birthday!
Created from one of last spring picture I took of my ride
Some people are talented!!! Thanks Browndog Welding!
How big is that thing? You're not kidding about the talent!
Some homeless guy crashed on my sofa last night
Don't you think we should research if our bikes are relatives, cousins or something like that... ?
Thanks again for your tips by the way.
Now we wanna see pictures of what your "nasty" wife got ya. :eek1
I buy it on April 2012 and I have many many fun with it. This year I drive with my KTM 11000km.
Did his wife throw him out because of his KTM habit?
