    Hello All,

I'm joining the group as a 2012 990 Adv owner as of last month. I managed to get a few hundred kms in before the freezing weather hit. :eek1 Would like to thank the group for helping me choose this bike as the "one " to have if you only have one bike in the garage. It's true that it's given me more smiles per mile than any other I've owned. Jesse bags go on next month, can't wait til spring but I'll have to.

    Cheers

Yes! it takes far more than two or three pumps, but what the heck! when you are in the middle of nowhere, all you have is time instead of an air compressor... :D

I also take always one of those. If you are going to buy one, be sure it's the 2-ways-inflator one, so you can almost double the performance.

I use one also and half the time I go for a bicycle ride I look down and think "Where's my pump? Damn, it's in my tail bag".

Today I took it out of the bag and when I got to the trails, left it behind the seat of the truck :baldy

    Luckily, it was not needed

1cool, how Slime performs at high speeds?
I always used it for my enduro bikes, but I have this doubt about the speed...

I only take a hand pump. You can easy seat a bead with them, remember they are design to put 100psi+ into bicycle tyres, thats more than most petrol station pumps will go to.

Have one of these on my DL650. It's awesome. Lower psi for dirt, them fill em back up once ya hit pavement. Fits right under my seat.
