Nice pic. Look at the color of those leaves and tell me God isn't a KTM fan!
Cool little RideApart video with a 990 in Colorado.

The exact reason I own this bike and live here
Can't wait to get out there and see it
Nice job indeed, but i don't like it much: too "heavy" in the lower part and too thin where there should be a tank.
Indeed interesting anyhow!
I agree, interesting but awful for the very same reasons.
Anyway, may be they're just fooling in the garage and it's not a rideable setup? Otherwise where would they "stick" the fuel tank, and how many liters/gallons can it carry then...? and what about the whole air intake system... :huh
Or... may be I'm short of imagination these days...
Not sure cause i don't know german but i think that "thing" on the lower part of the bike is the fuel tank, the red bottle is the expansion for the radiator and maybe the oil tank is somewhere under the seat.
Anyhow the KMS setup someone linked on the german forums is indeed more near to how i see the adv transformation :)
Check the skidplate again...
Ok, Blur, thanks.
Thought the pics here where the only available but they were just an intro. I now realize I should have visited the link.
Besides it's a great handy job, to its ugly look (IMHO) now I add I don't like the setup for offroad riding either...less ground clearence, the tank IS the protection... :eek1 (I'm still short of imagination I guess).
Yeah - I don't like the idea of the skidplate being the tank either.... for the same reasons you've brought up.
I guess, looking at the tires, it's more of an on-road bike then heavy offroad.
From my sunset ride yesterday
Seattle in the background
Moon over my yammy.. errr.. KTM
This thing even looks great in black and white
This site needs a like button....
Yeah.....but have you roosted a fairway yet?
I am guessing Newcastle Golf Club...
good eye Craig.. no, havent roosted the fairway, I play golf and that would be too painful.. although cant afford to play there.. heh
Wish list, Baja edition from the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland.
that's just wrong !!!!! respect the fairway !!!!!
For the price they charge, I believe the fairways are immune to everything.....even my drives.
