Had some fun in the sand this morning
and it got pretty soft and thick some times (note bike standing upright on it's own in both photos):
So eventually we got tired and took a little nap
Then on to some firmer territory
The end of the road, literally. That's the road ending in the swamp:
It was modified and recovered in the North of England.
Finally installed aprilia wheels.
Redwood rd. ?
Found a new fishing hole
Direct bolt on?
no, he most likely has a woody kit. woody's retrofits aprilia caponord tubeless rims onto stock or aftermarket hubs. it is a nice setup, but the rim has an exposed edge that i know i would destroy in minutes. still, i would give a left nut for them.
I hope you are enjoying the wheels. I bought a new 990,wishing I would have kept them.
Hi all, here are some photos from a recent trip to the judean desert and dead sea in israel. me and a friend were on 990's
my friends ktm
unfortunately he didnt make it through to the end of the turn... and even more unfortunately i immediately ran to help him, so i dont have a pic of the fall, which was i assure you very impressive
I am looking at potentially buying this bike as my entrance into the LC8 fold. The current owner is an inmate, but has only owned it for about a month. To be fair he is being very helpful with the service history of the bike, very thorough. I was hoping someone could give me some history of the bike that isn't kept in the service records. Current owner bought bike from TX. Should be fairly recognizable with the Jesse bags and such.

That was my bike! Almost brings a tear to my eye, I miss her. I bought it with 2500 miles in brand new condition and sold it to blocman with around 28,000 miles. I rode it mostly here in the Utah desert, to Mexico once and a few times to California/Oregon. I intended to keep it forever so was really picky about preventative maintenance, TSBs, etc. plus I just like working on bikes and like keeping them in tip top condition. Let me know if you have any other questions. I would buy it back in a heartbeat, only sold it to pay for college tuition .
Go for it!!!
It looks good.
Ok hi....I didn't even thought I'd be in here...but anyways...here's my latest addition to the family...just got it 2days ago...
and did a midnight till dawn ride just yesterday.
And so....the adventure starts....till it stops cranking....
Exactly what I was looking for! PM incoming!
Went for a nice ride the other day, so here is my bike at its natural environment...
Note to self... Scorpions s@ck at loose rocks, the thing just wont move forward
A few farkles at the weekend.
Rally Raid screen, carbon fibre tank guards and some carbon vinyl on the swing-arm to protect from those nasty scratches it seems to be accumulating...
I still have a few things to do here and there to her, but she is coming along.
I especially need some new KTM decals on the side where the old ones were.
I was thinking the new KTM on the 2013 Baja sticker.
LOVE it blank.
Finally the spring is here!!
