    Hey guys,
I have a BMW Sertao and am selling it to upgrade to the new 990.... I think.
How are your bikes holding up? Any issues that are common?
    Thanks

Well I only have about 300 miles on it so far, and it looks OK. It didn't take long to scrub in and handles far better than the K60 it replaced on the street. I took it into a grassy field where the heidi would have been squirrelly as hell and had enough traction to loft the front end easy instead of just spinning. Threw about a 20ft rooster tail too. I'll post in the karoo 3 thread as I get more wear on it.

    Sweet bike.

Which rear rack to you have, and is that a Moose-Racing wind screen? Does that short screen help with the buffeting? If it is a Moose, I've heard that fitment is a problem... is that true?

I have a moose screen. It does fit like garbage. Seemed to help with buffetting, but gets old on long trips or days there is a crosswind. If you are ever in Eastern Oregon I will give it to you for the low low every day price of free, installation included! lol, I put my stock one back on.

Rear rack is tourtech. Screen is Moose. As mentioned the fit was less than great. The stock screen has a bridge piece under the light, this doesn't and flares a bit. Not thrilled with the looks or quality, but it's eliminated the buffeting basically because it enables all air past so it's like riding screen less. Might give the rally raid a shot.

I read somewhere that the aeroflow screen fitted over the short moose screen works very good, they are not cheap but might be worth a try. I am using the moose shortie same as yours & agree 100% with your comments about it.
    Cheers .
