That's the number! Just returned from the KTM dealer with same kit for my 2013 ADV990 Baja.

Brand new, 600 miles in days, 262 just to get it home.

Congratulations! Great bike. I've done 4600 Miles in 4 months and just getting started. Best bike I've ever ridden.

Thanks for the confirmation, will do the oil change next week. Kinda intimidated by the prospect of a 4 hour oil change, but I'm convinced that maintenance on these are best done personally if you can.

Youtube- "KTM990 oil change", parts 1, 2 & 3. It's a 2008 model in the video but same engine layout minus crash bars. Process is straight forward. Enjoy it because it has to be done correctly.

Um, more than $30 per oil change for that stuff is way expensive. The screen in the bottom of the motor can be cleaned and reused. The tank screen is cleanable and reusable. I'm still running both originals in my June 2004 build KTM. The only thing you need is the paper filter.

Or, better yet, buy the Scott's Stainless filter, which is cleanable and reusable. And, if your water pump leaks coolant into the motor, it will not stop up the Scotts filter like it will the paper filter. That means that with the Scotts, a failed w.p. will not endanger your motor. The Scotts is expensive, but at the prices for the above paper filter and screens, you pay for it after about 2.5 oil changes.

    Just sayin'. http://www.ktmtwins.com/scotts-ktm-950-990-rc8-lc8-oil-filter

Oh, all of the O-rings that are used around the oil housings and such -- just put a little Mobil 1 grease on them and put them back on the bike. They last forever. I've never replaced one.
