Well Lads got my CF screen in the post yesterday. Great looking screen and very good quality. I love it. Air flow around the lid is good with buffeting reduced even over the KTM touring screen.

Hi lads, Rade is on a bike trip at the moment and hasn't been logged in since the 18th.

As soon as he's back I'm sure he'll be in touch.

Ordered new EV06 carbon fibre shield from rade on Nov 3 and it was delivered to the door via Canada Post Nov 14 for 129 euros all included. This is a great deal for a superior product.

It looks great on the bike and addresses a few of the problems I was having with both the stock and touring shields - gps bracket stuck out too far forward which allowed for more vibration and lack of adjustment, and I just didn't like looking thru the clear shields at the back of the dash and gps mounts. This solid shield is aesthetically much more pleasing, fits perfectly, and is well made. It allows the gps to be mounted at least 2" further back with much more tilt allowed - such as for long periods on the pegs.

The small bit of light which managed to escape the headlight and shine inside the shield which others have complained of here is easily remedied by placing about 6" of 1/4 thick adhesive backed foam around the upper edge of the headlight - this stops the light intrusion.

Haven't road tested yet as weather isn't good in PNW, but I'm optimistic based on other reviews posted here.

    no-one is plastic! :-)

black gelcoat - means fiberglass coloured by black gelcoat - could be used as is or painted...

the one in top-left corner is carbon one as you can see in detail here:

i take it the black gelcoat is similar rigidity as the carbon one. just read great reviews on how carbon one does not give and flex or vibrations at speed.

wife looking buying xmas present and screen may be it

JJohn you seen my screen in person so you know what the carbon one is like. I really can't fault it. Love it. You won't be disappointed if you go for it.
