Lots of trees, after all, it is the beaver state.
Lets hope not!
Oh boy. I live in Mount Shasta, and i'd defintely be in for this if I can get the time off work.. Currently I am 24/7 for the "foreseeable future" as my co-worker got resigned last week, but if I can get it off, I'm in! Got parking for your rig, regardless.
drop me a PM and I'll shoot you a number....goes for anyone else coming through as well.
Last year the recommended hotel was the base for the entire rally. They set up booths in the parking lot for demo rides and some vendors as well.
Roger that, I just wasn't too sure if the campsites were the RV type with nothing but power hook ups and water taps and some lawn set up to cram as many big rigs as possible into every square foot.
Here is a good site for all those wondering what Elk lake area looks like..
and the above will have other sites in the area listed. The MT Bachelor Village area will have hotel rooms available, they are nice units. Hot tubs, swimming pool, restaurants the works.
Thanks for the nice thoughts Bill
I'd rather not repeat that, EVER again....
Keep an eye out for the trucks in the area
Hey Apple Jam, count me in for the Tuesday meetup (11th), 2-days of dirt to the event! I'll be on my 990. I can camp a few nights.
I plan to go soft this event, with a room in the KTM booked block of rooms. I spent decades tent camping, backpaking etc... I like a little comfort now and then as I get older and beat up.
Be great to see everybody.
Hope to see you before the rally, but if not I will see you in Bend!
How old do you have to be to test ride the bikes? Anyone else heading up from the South Bay (San Jose)?
Are you going to give us the details of the meetup time and plan in this thread.. I would like to ride down with you guys. That will be fun !
This looks like a blast.. would love to hook up with some other like minded dirt worshipers..

I read it as 25 years of age-

The room does sound nice.....But in $, that's at least two tanks of gas
My plan is to go this year (I went in Utah 2 years ago) .
Count me in for the 2 days of dirt down!
The more the merrier
I'd say slower, too, but maybe not.... with these bikes,,,,
