Hi guys, we need to get Mayas valve done, and we are heading to Medellin, anyone here know of a good place to get them done.

We have contacted R2R but can't get an answer back from them.

Normally I would do the job myself but no workshop and correct tools means we will have to stump for it.

    Anyone have some good input?

    Cheers all, Andi

supposedly good KTM shop in Pobaldo run by good English speaking Carlos IIRC correctly. Just check with Albert at the Shamrock or ask around the two are just a couple of short blocks away.

You are doing a valve job already or are you just checking:huh

That's Federico who owns the Moto Shop. He's a good guy and will treat you fairly though I'm not sure what kind of talent they have at the shop for the 950/990s.

I'd check and see what shim sizes Federico has and plan on doing the valves yourself. It's not that hard, it just takes some time and patience.

Might be helpful to distinguish between setting valve clearances (i.e., measuring, then changing shims) and a "valve job," which is more complicated.
