Well I would be happy with another "Meat Popsicle" post inserted right after the first one so I can split the Index in two (and maybe reorganize it into essential vs. other or ?).

I don't write HTML but those fellas are a dime a dozen so no problem there. External links are a bad thing since they expire quite often. Maybe something in the Hell o' Wizdum with the index or such would suffice? :dunno

ps - you can search the index now eh? Ctrl-F in Firefox :D

I just see it as an ongoing issue now that you're so close to the max. More threads will need to be added to existing 'categories/headings'. "Page/Part 1" will continue to expand, even with a "Part/Page 2". You'll end up needing to shift stuff from page 1 to page 2 as 1 adds more posts/threads. It just seems simpler (to me) to create a separate "living document" that the sticky simply links to. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Arch comes up with.

(yup - keep forgetting about Ctrl-F :baldy)

Well, doesn't appear to be a way around the hard limit via admin panel, so I've PM'd Baldy to see if he knows of a way, but it ain't likely. Can't insert a post beneath yours, either, Meat. They go in by date.

I have another idea, but lemme wait to hear back from Baldy about the limit before acting on it. Also, busy as hell with the big Motorcycle Show this weekend, so please be patient.

Thank you for your assistance Arch! :thumb I am holdin' my water well. :lol3

If you feel like you are taking too long, and if it made you feel better to give me your RFS, I wouldn't even think of holdin' it against you. :evil

Good job Loaded, even if you were just looking for another reason to rant. :thumb Sorry ChrisC; perhaps we will need to leave my quote of yours in the header of Part II? :lol3 Thanks for the help Arch; the RFS is a very nice touch. :tb Too bad I won't have any time to ride it since I now have to reformat the index into two parts... :arg

Suggestions welcome :deal I am thinking that essential stuff in Part I, and Oddities and such in Part II. Reasonable? :ear

:uhoh max 60,000 character index? that could definately have some pork in it! :evil thanks Arch, I think... :lol3

so I am going to try and split Pt. I vs. II up essential vs. non-essential? Or perhaps that should be "clearly useful" vs. "of questionable utility"? :scratch

For those of you wondering where meat pop is... he's off on a T-giving holiday. He should be back at the end of the week... so enjoy the peace and quiet while you can. :evil

    Say hi Meat!

Ok... you can say hi too Godspeed.

That one came from Godspeed's. I tried snoopin' around yours, but couldn't find any good ones with you in it.

I do like the AK47 toting kitty though. That made me laugh.

BTW, is this supposed to be a dog??
