These pics are of the first prototype, check website or later pics in this thread to view the newest version.

Not only does this look trick, but it's 3x as thick as the stock cover. You WON'T put your brake lever through this cover. It's not just BLING.

It also allows an easy way to check for water in the oil and that the clutch bolts are staying tight.

When is the last time you checked your OIL Jet? If it gets plugged your clutch won't get any oil. With this cover you can easily see that it's not plugged.

    Thank you,

Looks like I better get a list going.:huh

Realistically, this is looking like the beginning of next year I'll start on these. I'm gone from Dec 22- Jan 6. Then again from Feb 1- Feb 17. I'd like to get some testing on this before I start letting them get out. No need for you to be the beta testers.

My plan is to offer them in anodized black, Clear and Blue ("S"). If you have a preference let me know. I still have to look up material costs and such for a batch, so no price is set yet. Sorry. For a heads up though, the time that I spent on this one was way more than I though it would have taken. I'm going to look into that for the next ones. Again it all depends on how many I make at a time and cost of materials. Maybe in the next week or so I'll get some better numbers figured out. Feel free to voice your opinions. I want to make a part you guys are happy w/.

As for seeing the oil, this one has been used and is in use on my bike. I will be testing this in Mexico this Feb. If it passes that I know it will be fine. This is a dry sump motor, so you don't really see much oil unless the motor is running and forced out of the clutch, you do see the oil though. You may also be able to tell if your oil jet is clogged before damage occurs to your clutch booster. This is not like an oil level sight glass, b/c the motor does not hold that much oil. You normally would have no idea what's going on inside, so seeing the inner workings is pretty neat.

Very cool. Nice stuff. Never saw those before. :thumb

I was thinking at first to do the full clear as it would be a little easier, but an off road bike needs some protection by the brake lever to keep it from going through the side cover in a crash. Also your boots would rub the heck out of the clear lexan if there was nothing for it to rub on. Just my observations. :ricky

I've finally gotten all the Material quotes back. This was a bit more than I hoped. :(

Anodizing the color of your choice is optional.(clear, black, blue, ????) I can also make these a MATTE finish like the SAS plates to match your cases for less bling affect.

This is made out of 6061 aerospace grade aluminum, Polycarbonate window and TITANIUM cover. Stainless fasteners are used to hold it together. Top shelf materials. Your stock o-ring is used from your original cover and all original hardware is reused. This is a easy bolt on.

BTW, this is the ONLY aftermarket cover that works w/ the Rekluse.

Please start a list here if you want, add what color you prefer.

KTM LC8 Rekluse and Clutch cover package may be available too.

Is the anodizing (clear, black, blue, orange-bling!) just on the aluminum part and the titanium cover stays clear? or all parts anodized the same color? Does titanium anodize the same color as aluminum?

I can kinda understand the rationale... but it strikes me as kinda stupid that stuff that is specific to the same model of bike that an entire forum is devoted to, must end up in vendors - where, TBH, I dont think ppl really read..

Did you ask why it got booted?
