I have a 2006 ktm 400 exc . I got it a few months ago and took it on its first real ride today . Love the bike. But after about an hour in(a lot of street also off road) it gave me what I think you would call a boil over . Burning a lot of antifreeze all the smoke scared me I shut the bike off and it made it home all right and seemed to just stop. Should I still be riding it . And are there any suggestions other than what I have already read about a fan better coolant and what not . Also the radiator it's self is in pretty rough looking shape.

Did you start with a Full radiator? If so, too much, it will blow out the excess. Unless you are running a catch tank the radiator should only be filled up to about 1/2" below the top. That allows for expansion/contraction of coolant. Fans do help. I have them on all my bikes.
