So I've been reading this as fact (on the 'net before finding the source), but I was wondering if anyone on here had any non-biased actual sales figures? Something other than a quote from a Motocross rag. Seems more like a goal and a lofty one at that, than actual fact. But now that we're more than halfway through '13 I'm sure the data exists by now. Anecdotally you could say "yeah KTM sells more bikes than anyone else; I see nothing but Orange at the local XC races"; but that's a relatively small sample size when compared to the full spectrum of off-road riding (play bikes, trail, mx, SM, desert, etc.). If KTM really is in fact selling more 2stroke bikes than all the off-road bikes from Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki combined; you would think that Economics 101 would come into play and Yamaha might actually update the YZ250 and the others would re-enter the full size 2stroke bike market, right? If you look at the sales offerings from the Japanese Mfg. sales of full size off-road (NOT D.S.) bikes must've been slow as the KLX & KDX line is gone, and the RMX and DRZs are gone from Suzuki as well.
