I just got one for my KTM525...just curious how many miles you got out of your last one?
Ok, had a speedy response from Mr Kush ( Ryan ) and he instantly refunded the price of my sprocket as he didnt have any in stock. I will say he is a very honest bloke & I wish him well, I just wish the dampening could last maybe 5000km, then I would be happy.
As I have said before, at least they wont leave you stranded somewhere, mine drove metal on metal for a hard 2600km before making it home, with little deformation of the metal parts
2 to 3 k seems to pull them up .... mine has about 2k on it now and starting to fail ..... i will remove it and go back to stock sprockets
i wish Ryan the best of luck he is a stand up guy and deserves success ...
Just bought one before I found this thread, arrived yesterday. Seemed like a great invention, but if they fail that quickly I don't suppose he'll want to sell them too much longer. Losing proposition.
Oh well, I'll update with my results.
I just bought one. Didn't have but one size to choose from the other 2 were sold out. I will try it and hope for the success of the company because it's a great idea.
There's a lot of bright folks on here that can fabricate quite well. If anyone has any ideas to make this more durable let's hear it. Maybe it will help Ryan.

Have you done any high speed corrugations ?
Mine did 1500km with no troubles, but the rubbers failed very quickly after that

Longest stretch was 3 hours above 100 on tar. I really don't work the bike much so hope it lasts better for me. Am watching it closely after your experience!
3000km on my second one.Have done some muddy rides and water.Holding up ok.
Tar doesn't seem to be an issue, seems high speed corrugations on dirt roads are what causes the most hammering on the sprocket
I might be putting this 41 for sale. I need a 45 or 50 but they were out. I don't feel like taking links out of the chain- but at a glance it looks like that will be what's required to make it fit. I'm geared 15/50 and it's close to perfect for me but I think a 15/45 would be better.
I wonder if they are going to make more?
15/45 is a fair jump from 15/50. But you could run 14/45 if you like the original gearing. I'm on 15/45 and it's okay for my riding.
I had to take it to the DMV today to get it tagged and bagged (which I did- WooHoo!) and it just seemed the RPMs were a bit "up there" for around 50 mph. Of course I don't have any gauges so I am guessing. That's was my first ride outside the neighborhood and I thought it did pretty good. I worry about the 5th gear failure but I'm just not ready for the $1000 cush hub rim yet.
I run 14/47 which seems ideal for most of my riding round here, still ok in the bush but able to sit on 110 - 115 km/hr on the road. On long open fast dirt road blasting 15 -45 is great, but a bit high for any single track or technical stuff
Gearing really depends on your intended riding. Some guys run 13/50 for almost Trials riding terrain. I'm 60 now so have no interest in super technical trails so loping down the fast trails with 15/45 works for me now. The Kush may just last me fine!
I run 13 -50 for Enduro type use ( tight and technical ) , I ran 14 -45 in the Victorian High Country in May and the gearing was great , when in Adventure mode locally , I run 15 -45 , that allows me to sit on 100 kph at about 5000 rpm , the engine feels real comfortable around that 90 - 110 zone with 15 -45 . I do tend to ride a bit faster than most others in adventure mode though , so the gearing I run fits in with that usage parameter .
Also a consideration is - I run a Barrett , full large bore exhaust system with my full Adv set up , this has a quite noticeable increase in torque over the std exhaust and muffler , so the meaty torque negates the higher gearing's tendency to feel a bit sluggish at lower revs .
I'm thinking this on the xr650L - did you have it on the 630? does it make a diferance when the rubbers go I wonder? It seems from what I'm reading it still works fine. For the price you pay for them if you can get 4000 k's well thats only a couple of k's less than I could get outa a standard on the 690. $1100 for a cush drive on the big girl

Yes have had 2 on the 630 the first one 7500km.You can feel it when they go, it gets jerky rolling on and off.On the husky flooging out sprockets has got to be better than flogging out countershaft splines.
yep thats whats wrong with my 650 now - 7500 is good - you would just have to get used to knowing before big rides when its time to change beforehand like tyres I guess.
Are they still available though - website is not working at all ?
