I got a new leftover 2009 People 150 too. Nice scooter!! I have it at our place on the Big Island of Hawaii and we'll be moving there eventually. I rode it for about 175 kilometers before we had to come back, so I pulled the battery and plugged in a battery tender and used Sabil in the gas. First tank looks like about 75 mpg. It's not going to be as fast as my wife's SYM HD200. But there is no SYM dealer on the island. There is a Kymco dealer.

I considered getting a People 150 but ended up on a Super 8. My size 12 feet were one of the factors on going with the Super 8. Had I gone with the people 150 I would have chosen the same color as yours. Your pics are giving me second thoughts, you have a real nice looking scooter.

Nice! I wish it were that sunny around here lately, but since we got spring weather for most of Jan and Feb, I have no room to complain.

I don`t think the 33 will be too big. And since you don`t have much room under the seat, you`ll probably make use of as much extra cargo space as you can get. If you DO want to keep it smaller, act quick and go for the 28l Coocase on closeout at Twisted Throttle for $75. I bought one of the $50 boxes (also 28l) just before they disappeared and it`s top notch.

Yea you should wait until its broken in to do any real testing. The People 150 tops out at an actual 63-65 MPH, although the optimistic speedo lies 70 MPH. This is a bit above average for a 150 cc air cooled scoot as well.

I'm glad your havin fun on it though!

    Huh? :huh
I've worked at a scoot shop, and was able to put a lot of different FF
helmets in virtually ALL (like 80%+) scoots we had..

I can fit all of my helmets in my Agility 125, as I could in my little Peugeot
    Speedfight 50cc.

    Big wheeled scooters are problematic.

Like I said, any smaller scooter with wheels 14" and bigger.. probably won't work
but most small scooters have small wheels = storage space!

Yes, they won't on the People 150. I think the trunk will be nice for storage. Maybe you can fit a full face in.

I'll tell you, the single best mod I've done on my Elite 150 so far was rigging a Sports bike tank passenger seat bag to work on my Elite 150's rear rack. Many people will say storage is no big deal, bit it REALLY is awesome!

I LOVE this bag. It fits perfect. It is actually quite spacious inside, and has 2 side pockets for even more! It is also flexible, so this increases capacity even more! Not to meantion its waterproof [Wasn't sure, know it from exprence!:lol3]. I have so far fit a full face helmet, huge motorcycle leather jacket [Possible 10 pounds!], my camera, sunglasses, lunch, and a bottle of gatorade in this scoot! Then I even have a bottle of tire goo in one of the side pockets, and a tiny hand pump upfront in the glovebox for long rides!

I just got tired of using a backpack, and this really works out well for me! Heres a pic:

I put an EMGO tail trunk on my super 8. It probably doesn't hold as much stuff as btcn's soft bag but it is more secure since you can lock it.

It also provided a good place to put an ADV sticker:D
