Some pics for me
chris, you could make it. we stayed on the main trail, no ice! the mud was shallow and manageable. and the snow was just fine, like riding on sand. your long legs are a plus. going off the off beaten and single track, that's already tough enough, and then add snow...results could be different as several guys learned the hard way.
that luggage is always full, though i don't need the shit for this ride, it has all the tools and spare parts to do the continental divide. you know, part of the preparation and training.
oh, the purse....have to leave the make up kit to make room for food and drinks. unlike the backpack, it keeps the weight low, easy on the back, and quick access to get things in and out.
get a Mojavi bag......
The new Wolfman bag set up could be cool as well.
This is the "after" picture. Muddy, dirty but still beautiful...
Man, those conditions on the Sunday ride looked PRIME! Would have loved to join but my parents were visiting from MI. Took my Dad out on the SV and DR on a tarmac ride around the Rock Store, which was also very nice!
a dirt rider is born every hour, while an adventure rider emerges once a day....FYYFF thanks for giving this thread a shot of youth....

Had a great ride yesterday out in Mojave, got a chance to tag along with Eric and his group of "A" riders. (I now know how Joel feels). These boys are crazy fast and don't stop for shit. Mike had to fake a break down just so he could rest. (I was more then happy to play along)
Ami, Rider and all others are all great riders. I am proud to be riding with those non-n00b ones, eventhough I can not really keep up with them..
I was so excited and this is what happened when they all watch me riding towards them:
paul could not grasped the beauty of this place
here comes the rest of the gang
hard core ktm orange
we started to like the puddle
pucking ami he likes to leave a big and deep impression...
I have been told, " If you want to become a better rider you have to ride with people who are better then you" about half way threw yesterdays ride I wanted to kick the guy who said that to me in the balls!
I had a blast trying to keep up with these crazies yesterday, Most of them have been riding since they were puppy's and the years of experience really shows. I didn't get the chance to take many pictures (not like I was ever in front of these guys) but I did get a shot Eric going down this water fall I don't think I could have walked down this but Eric had no problems.
+1. Javier made me a great deal. If the weather would let me, I would pick it up.
yeah mike, that's a great bag. i bought 1 (that goes to the exc) when rob did the kotw mass buy. wish i bought more if i had the $
bob, pm how much you paid and i'll know if it's a great deal....

waited for the rest of the crew and no show. we figured there are 4 of them and they can take care of themselves, so we move on to the next ridge.
