Snowing in the El Pasos today....
I'm in the market for a 2004 or 2007 California plated KTM 450 or 525 EXC. Anyone local have one they're looking to sell or seen one offered at a fair price? Already browsed the Craigslist ads and have a 2007 450 on my short list. Price is ok, but debating if I should hold out for a 525.
I'd jump on a clean '07 450 w/o hesitation. Not much $$$ to make yourself a 525/540/570 if you really feel you need more. Chances are that '07 could use some motor work by now anyways.
Only has 2000 miles so probably not too bad. Depends on what kinda miles those were I suppose.
We found some.
Razr, kap, his son and I Staged at Happytrailsinc house in Hesperia and the headed down towards Lucerne and JoValley. Awesome day to ride.
i seem to be able to find a few 525s and 530s on the OC CL. Maybe they are out of your price range?
Beautiful out in the desert this weekend. Too lazy to get up early after finishing the clutch install on my little cheeetr the night before so I rode the day by myself. Heavy rain and a couple puffs of snow on the way out there but I managed to dodge the dark clouds all day. The brown clouds near the ground swallowed me up at the end though.
Not sure why I can't embed :huh http://youtu.be/_llTf5rWwSc
Good one Aram.
Here we go.

Awesome, guys I don't know how you keep the bike up in that stuff.
bwaahahahahaa,,,,Don't look that way,,,,when you want to go the other way....got it...That is the silt bed I was telling you ate my friend the week before.......sorry we missed you....thanks for the schwag....
nice video, aram. riding pretty aggresively for riding solo, eh? ("don't look that way when you want to go this way")
were you filming with the gopro "chesty" harness?
Looks like fun boys!
I couldn't resist dipping my rubber in that mess. I'm glad I had an excuse to head out there.
If by aggressive you mean riding like a blind monkey on pcp, then YES. I had my Spot and there were a lot of people around for the holiday weekend. I lost count of how many xmas trees I saw in the back of people's pickups.
It is the chest mount, better known as the "look-at-my-handlebars-for-the-whole-video" mount. I got a new lid so I don't have the mount on it yet. I missed a lot of hill climbs in the video because of the angle. It's good for some stuff but really depends on your posture in different terrain. Some people are very opinionated on the matter but it's all fun and games to me. I put cameras everywhere on all my bikes, helmets, etc. I like the variety. At least we don't need to lug around a VCR with a shoulder strap attached to the camera anymore. :eek1
Awesome seeing all this snow in SoCal. I'll put the gopro on for our company snowmobiling trip in a couple weeks.
been away and just got back home tonight.
that's a nice one rob
good job aram, love the camera angle. glad to see you had a great time.
thanks to bigtodd for taking this shot.
Just curious how well your TE310 is holding up?
Any issues or complaints?
