The technical term is "sasquatch".
I'm 6'1", 225#, 34" inseam. Yeah... my bars seem low. :)
I'm pretty conservative in my riding so far. I've been mountain biking for 25+ years. Prior to that in my more nimble years I skated pools and pipes.
On a mountain bike I'm comfortable traveling quickly on single track and picking lines. So far I've just played a bit in the mud and on some back country roads but no singletrack on motorcycle. I couldn't get on the Lippincott ride since it filled up, but would LOVE to do that ride.
I really appreciate all the tips on setups. Let the farkelage begin.
You will need bar risers and taller bars a taller seat and bigger foot pegs
also a set of springs contract ESP and just pay what they ask
Have you riden gridley on your mtn bike if you can ride there you'll be fine
On any of DV' s roads
When your ready for real motorcycle single track GO ride down ortaga trail
Don't try up intill you have gone down
If you think that's fun send me a pm and I'll show you some fun stuff
Hasky momento ride today
Here's one for the fallen ...
Haven't done Gridley yet but thanks for the tip. The ride looks awesome! I've done the Wood Canyon Vista-Guadalasca loop in Mugu State Park a lot. I'm in Taipei until the 15th but that Gridley ride looks like a plan!
The Ortega trail looks ...uh... challenging to say the least.:huh
Nice....you should have had a few more....there was a lot of "fallin'" going on 15 miles from you .....
Video to follow.....
Jello shooter salutes at the Hasky....... Classic
Haha , DayQuil and beers
Hmmm, was out that way yesterday as well with a couple of small bikes. Didn't see any unusual dust clouds.
Of course you didn't see any clouds. Val was driving the Ural and Noel was riding b*tch :huh probably singing at the top of lungs and having a hard time keeping his ass in the Ural :eek1. See note above Dayquil and beer
