I've always wanted to check out that area. From the sat images on google, it looks like there's trails all over that little range.:eek1
Is it BLM? All private? Meth head owned and operated?
Whats the deal?
bean canyon is epic especially after some rain, hillclimbs and off camber trails for days problem is the law and the thieves,so go up another 25miles and enjoy jawbone .Last time up there some ass put thousands of roofing nails on two of the main trails ended up with 3 flats on the truck and a few more on the friends trucks too.Great pics and still looks awesome .Bean is were the hurricane grew up ridin i've been told.
Yes back in the day I went there alot, never got shot at but our group of 12 did get tickets... we were loading up when the copers came. No place to go. We all went to court together and took our bikes with us and went riding(not there) after......fun! I think back then the tickets were like $80-100 each. That place is awsome.
want to know what bud....?....
they don't give Superduke R's out for loaners.....
No wonder those KTM boys stayed late to help fix up your SE you're keepin them in biz! Super nice BIKE...now if there were just a way to ride all of them at the same time!
Now THIS would be a great loaner and it's got orange on it.
OWOWOWOWOW....don't get hit with the rock salt. That bloody well hurts for daaaaaays.
Do people even do that anymore?
now we know why the dealer treats you differently......
anyone with plans to ride during those days?.....
hopefully it gets warm enough to melt the ice on the road/trails after xmas, we can invite macuser to come and join us.
hey aaron, chances are it will rain on xmas day. if not, go ahead an post your plan. i'm not sure if i can ride that day....terranova discovered a trail on the bear divide. no snow or ice, may be worth investigating since he didn't go all the way since he was alone.
dude, water buffalos were(are) the SHIIIIIIIIIIT ! ! ! ! !
I'm in for Saturday. Gonna steer clear of the "Ice Capades" if possible.
Hope there is some meltiness in this weather system.
Don't know much about em but saw that one on ebay and i want it...
That ain't a water buffalo.
This is a water bufallo:
:eek1 ....it's a widow maker
i'm in for a sat ride or anyday between xmas and jan 2, if we have a place to go....
otherwise, i'll be wrenching in my garage.
There is a great 280 mile loop from the 15/138 out to Randsburg and back. Should be ice and (mostly) snow free by Saturday. About 3 hours to Randsburg, lunch, three hours back and whatever travel time to the 15/138. It's an all day ride, but fairly fast terrain with quite a bit of sand.
If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll forward a google earth map and strategic coordinates. I won't be going.........prepping for Baja and
