Here's a few pics from the Rock Inn Ride...

Dual Sports outnumbered the Harleys when the ADV crew showed up.

I think Joel is making a move on my beer. :nono

There were some nice rest stop areas.

There were some great views too.

When we left the Rock Inn, we turned right on the dirt road off of Lake Hughes Road, and headed uphill, it was very dusty. The homeowner below the road was motioning for everyone to slow down as his house and yard were getting dusted by the crew. I don't know if anyone else noticed that, but I think some respect towards the locals is due. He looked like a biker himself. ....just sayin' :deal

Thanks to all for a great ride.

I managed to get the wife and boy off to breakfast early today.
Took the new and improved 800 on a 200 mile jaunt.
Took a ride through Castaic to Lake Hughes Rd., past The Rock Inn to Munz Ranch Rd. When that ended, I picked up the power lines and rode to the wind farms near Tehachapi. I stopped and visited a friend in Tehachapi and high tailed it more or less the way I came. 105 F out there in the Antelope Valley desert.
Hopefully, I can stitch a bunch of my recent off road routes together and set up a nice ride for the group.
