Hey oni I think you right,as the redbull with v kicked in and the pork sando started digesting the throttle wanted to stay wide open longer and longer.Noel thanks for keeping me on the gas. What is it euro bikes seem to go faster and faster and my poor old klr just wants a nap.I'm thinking a twin needs to be orderd and save the klr for unsuspecting visitors.Fmfpunk ,Dunerat ,Nowwhat ,Oni Notmymodelbike, even h8chains were smooth and my klr just clanked and thumped and thudded all day.My ankles hurt and my cheeks to from blowing out those jeans, and grinning all day.

I made it to the meeting place just before 7:20 am, to see Nowwhat and BouncingBilly waiting. Shortly afterwards, the Pasadena boys (Bruce, Oni, and Noel) showed up. Then came FMFPunk, notmybikemodelname (come on dude give up this name...way toooooo long) Trid, and finally Taquito.

New victims :lol3 .........Trid and Taquito

    Oni.......no intro needed

    BouncingBilly and his KLR
    [IMG]

The long ride from Rancho Cucamonga did not bother FMF Punk. just as long he sees dirt...........:clap

Now, we have 3 bad ass 950s spitting rocks on us....:eek1
    [IMG]

From day 1, my long time riding fuckner, and good old buddy guard....Nowwhat
    [IMG]

Shy looking and always smiling Bruce
    [IMG]

The life of the party...no other than Dunerat :wings
    [IMG]

    Trid
    [IMG]

    Taquito
    [IMG]

notmybikemodelname (dooooood...give up this name, it's too long)

To get to the nearest trail....the ride was really crappy.. cuz it's all 35 miles of winding canyons and narrow twisty roads, and totally abandoned, didn't see a single car at all. Check out the little dots on the road.

Being dual sport riders, we suck on pavement

They may be fast but with small gas tanks, I catch up with them at the gas station..

This time me included in this rare pic
    [IMG]

What the heck is Nowwhat and Oni doing?

The price of gas for today's ride
    [IMG]

    Hoooligans on plated dirt bikes
    [IMG]

Last few miles of pavement and we're almost there
    [IMG]

But Marty would rather ride on any dirt he could find
    [IMG]

Finally at the trail head to Tule Ridge

    Sito's rock, without Sito :lol3
    [IMG]

Inside the canyon looking at the trail head where we started
    [IMG]

They gave me a few minutes head start and soon spotted Nowwhat [IMG]

and another one...it gotta be Marty
    [IMG]

Shit soon will hit the fan
    [IMG]

    The trail quickly got busy

By the time Billy came, the trail was full of dust
    [IMG]

Taquito is so slow like me that the dust already settled down when he showed up :eek1

    Break time...

Dunerat will need new rear tire soon before he gets his license plate
    [IMG]

Today's ride for notmybikemodelname is a 3-beer run.

Didn't take long for Dunerat to find the 12 pack that Billy had on his trunk...:eek1

Made me wonder what happened to Trid, we lost him on the FW5. Hope he made it home safely.

Yesterday was a full day for me...fun ride, then rushed to see friends and watched a concert at the Bowl. Got home late and didn't touched the computer till 1AM.

Saw another local ADV member, Posole Vato, who has a soft spot for philharmonics like me...:lol3
    [IMG]

Watching the orchestra playing under the colors of the KTM Adventure "S" was great.....Chris Isaak performed some lovely romantic songs as well :raabia

I'm starting to figure out now why Posole and I....:toney have little issues riding with Riceless..........:lol3

After I get back from the Rose Bowl Flea Market, I'll post more pics and report................:fyyff

Marty, I don't have a gpx file, and probably no one has it either.

Good to hear Nowwhat and bike #105 made it home... and the rest of the guys who posted after the ride.

Paul, great riding with you today. When you have a moment, please PM me so we can arrange to have your bike properly tuned. I believe that your XL is running extremely rich and thus diminishing your personal enjoyment.

After our 1st break, we headed west on 6N24 towards Lake Hughes Rd

Billy seeing in his mirror the oncoming orange rush and making room for them to pass
    [IMG]

Dunerat picked his line and making the move
    [IMG]

A familiar sight we see throughout the ride, the back of an orange bike
    [IMG]

The life of a thumper, in the cloud of dust, Oni showing his feeling :lol3
    [IMG]

Same shit, just a different bike....notmybikemodelname this time

Taquito was too far behind that he never saw a cloud of dust
    [IMG]

Taquito riding in the park - h8chain style.........

Now it's me and I tried to be modest on the size of the pic.......:lol3
