    after 7-8 miles of deep sand plus 120 more to go, we decided we had enough.

    so, next was plan B, meet the big bikes near june lake.

    the route was take 90% dirt to june lake

    unfortunately, motor vehicles are not welcome on the trail

    jm, i didn't take tons of pics but lots of videos. tune in, hopefully, they'll turn out as near good as yours.



    didn't see the canning jars, could it be for beers only???

    hey eric, you boys been to mammoth riding quads and dirt bikes. we can hit the place again in september and spend 3 days at least. there's so many places to see and do. the best part, you get to go to the STOVE again...:wave

    if you don't do mammoth, we will be in Kennedy Meadows. Not a lot, but there are trails for big bikes.

    My wife and I will be there the week after Labor day, starting that Tuesday. We are camping at Mammoth Lakes Campground and day tripping from there. We'll have quads(2) and an XR400 if I can get it going again, just need to finish Honey Do's.

    19,457 miles when I picked it up New Year's Eve

    29,472 miles on the odometer today
