I'll second that.........You fucks missed some nice riding at the BBB!
So FYYFF's :fyyff
I really wanted to be there... fuck you guys for rubbing it in
The "rubbing it in" was the back rub and reach around/under in the shower at the Motel 6 with the 3 amigos What happens in Big Bear stays in Big Bear (unless it's posted)
UFF's planing on riding with the RFBK, check the thread for a change in venue.
I rode out to Pioneer Town and back today, didn't see another bike in the dirt (aside from the Pirate that dropped his shiny Harley in the parking lot at Pappy & Harriet's). I think all of your photos have been altered with Photoshop and nobody actually went to Big Bear this weekend.
Espi probably hurt himself doing something embarassing, so he's making up the story that he "crashed while riding." I've seen him ride, crashing doesn't happen to him. Heal up soon Espi!
I'm still in the fookin work vortex, That's 9 days straight, I'll be off tomorrow at 2p.
Then I'm going to find a beer the size of a paint can :slurp
For goodness sakes don't post it let that little romantic misunderstanding stay in Big Bear.
All I got to say is,one of the 3 amigos needs to tend to the gardening!
I checked out your video
WATCH CHASING RICELESS
Its great I got to watch them all now!
TMI Way, WAY TM
It's time for new boots for me. Anyone seen any Sidi Adventure boots at the local shops?
Irv Seaver BMW might have a few left. I really like mine.
They look really nice but I'm to cheap to spend 375 on boots. Oh and I havn't see them at the shops
that's a bargain compared to the sidi crossfire
Then don't compare to the Sidi Crossfires
They do look real nice but I'm with jamin, $375 is a lotta beer
I never even wore riding boots until last year, I'd go in hiking boots or worse but once I started riding ADV rides I got shamed into it. Its a good thing now every time I hit my foot or shin I think how bad would that have been w/o the boots, there a real confidence builder and I crash a lot. I hear the SIDI boots are the best.
Thanks Tim, I'll check Irv Seaver and the other BMW dealers.
I'm looking for some boots that have more protection than my low end offroad boots and are still reasonable for touring and comfortable. So far these boots are reported to be just that. I have to replace my street boots anyway, could use some waterproof boots, and could use some more ankle protection and comfort than what I currently have in my Oneil Element offroad boot. I'm already looking at $150-300 for street boots with ankle protection anyway, so $375 does not sound too bad if I can use them for both touring on-road and off road.
