I rode through Rocky Gap Saturday night (Nov 18).
Here's a clip of the rock garden area coming in from the Lovell canyon side.. Looks pretty straight forward, currently.

HELP! We need someone to ribbon Day One of LA-B-to-V tomorrow (Wednesday) or on Thanksgiving Day. It's 144 miles. We need someone who is preferably experienced with the event (or has ridden District 37 dual sport events) who can read the GPS tracks and the roll chart. We'll provide the ribbon tied to clothespins. If you couldn't afford the ride this year or have to work over this weekend, perhaps this will interest you! Call Kieth Huff immediately at 562-244-0244.

Has this been handled? Why don't a bunch of us "leap frog'" the route and knock it fast Thursday?

I can plan on being there early Thursday with a few others if that's what it takes.

Someone just needs to coordinate the manpower to make this happen.

Dino702, Thanks for offering to help out. Someone in Lancaster stepped in and offered to ribbon while we were stuffing all the rider envelopes tonight. Fortunately, another person was able to get the ribbon to his home.

    Hello LA-B-to-V Riders,

    Important last-minute information!

When you pick up your Day One Rider Envelope at signups Friday morning at Palmdale Supercycles, it will contain a green paper that shows the Barstow motel map and a pink paper for your support crew. The green paper did not get the Helendale/Silver Lakes lunch stop printed on the back. The lunch stop is on the support crew pink paper instead.

If you are not riding with a support crew, carry both the green and pink paper, along with the 11 by 17 folded Course Instructions which have the course map on the back.

If you are riding with a support crew, either print out a copy now of the Helendale/Silver Lakes lunch map so you can carry it with you, or just meet up with your support crew and then look at their pink lunch map to determine where you will get gas and eat lunch. The check point is also shown on that map.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Here's the lunch map:

What is the name of the ride page? I don’t see any obvious choice.

Sorry if it is simple, this is my first Spot.

That page is a general login page for Spotwalla, not a link to a specific tracking page, FYI

The info packet has instructions for Garmin GPS's. When I did the LAB2V a few years ago there was a separate table for other brand GPSs. I have a Delorme PN-40. All I had to do was give them a memory card and they copied the GPX file directly into the tracks folder of my card. Is this still the way they're doing it?
