You know youve hit rock bottom when Stu is your guardian angel
POST UP YOUR RIDE REPORT HERE
My batting average at shepherding slackers through Red Rock is 100%.
I can live with that.
START YOUR PREPARATIONS NOW
For me that starts with getting a smaller bike ... wrestling 600lbs of GSA in the sand for 2 days wore me out.
Oh boy!!! Something tells me you will be having a blast next year!!!
Awesome cool man!!!!!!!
what are you guys waiting for?
I was waiting for Dave to catch his breath after we horked his bike over a tough bit.
Shouldn't that little Husaberg pretty much throw itself clear over all of the rocks?
RAZR good to meet you, I was on my way to toastvill by then, heres why. I rode sweep, got out at about 8am, still guys in the parking lot when we left, that means guys where behind sweep from the start. Found my first downed rider about 20 miles in-broken back. Found my second in Jawbone, broken ribs, Kern Co Fire came out for both. Finally got to Ridgecrest at 1PM, crammed down a sandwich and punched it to close the dirt section to Barstow by 2pm, found two more hurt riders and two lost riders, we finally got to Barstow at 10:30pm, there was one more sweep team behind us that found riders off course and did not get in until 4am, they had to be up at 6am to ride day two.
Because of guys lagging, we did not leave until 8:30 Sat morning, we swept from the start to Baker, we had no broken bodies but broken bikes and riders that could not ride the terrain, finally got to Ludlow at 1:30. We stayed waiting for Truck sweep to conferm the last guys were closed off the dirt section and punched it to Baker, knowing it was closed we kicked it up and averaged 62 MPH and got to Baker in an hour, High speed with my riding partner was rad, we found more guys in Baker way behind, they wanted to ride Red Rock Canyon but there was no way, sent them on a long I15 pavement ride. Our day was over also, Sweep truck Rabbit picked us up(he was out last night until 3am) and hauled us into Vegas.
We got up Sunday with a nasty hangover and geared up and rode back to Sandy Valley to ride Red Rock, all was well then.
WRK2SURF- need to do this next year
Sweep truck Rabbit picked us up(he was out last night until 3am)
I was 1 of the 3 riders in Rabbits truck until 3am. My bike was actually broken.
It did, the problem was from the handlebars back

Rode back to Palmdale via Death Valley then trailered to Florence,Az and rode Box Canyon Road/Florence Coke Ovens! Quite the deal for a Texas farm boy!! :huh
Maybe the two were deaf?
Thought that but the girlfriend looked back at me and didn't make any movement to tell the guy to slide over... Oh we'll.... I get similar treatment from hikers and horses while mountain biking sometimes... Nothing new. That thumbs down hippy chick was doing same shit to Razr ahead of me... Lol
Where's all the ride video's?
