The one thing we should do is get together and share ride stories and "where to go!"

Baton Rouge and Surrounding area ADV'ers and gravel aficianados, if you haven't already heard, we've got a great group that regularly meets up for a Thursday Meet and Eat, and get together for group rides as well riding the hills and gravel north of Baton Rouge and NF Areas in south MS.

The next big outing we're having is a Gravel, Guns, and Pig Cook campout at a DSRL'ers deer camp in the Homochitta NF-2nd or 3rd year we've had a group campout there.

Come say hello and make some new riding buddies:

Thanks for starting the thread. :clap

It's not just helpful for locals 'cuz us out of state folks can learn a lot of local knowledge by reading along.

Really enjoyed riding some of the twisties South of Lafayette at Swampscooters Rally last year. Always impressed with the food and hospitality. Want to try a more mixed dirt road/twisty ride next year as I'm planning to attend again. I'll keep the thread marked.

    Inmates,
My name is James Naquin. I am coming down for 2 weeks (4-17) in March for Mardi Gras and Family. I am from Houma and will stay there most of the time. I will be in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Morgan City, and New Orleans during the trip.
If anyone is interested in meeting up and riding that would be great. I am ready to eat, so that would be good for destinations during riding.

    Thanks,
    James

Time to check in, I'm over in New Iberia and have a Uly.
Ride mostly on the street with 1125R, but picked up a 06 Uly for me and my wife to ride a little more comfortable. I'll keep my eye on this thread to see if anything is going on locally.
