I believe that guy is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

He posts over at Pirate4x4 in the LR section. He has a couple gorgeous Defenders, including a 110 that he stuck a 350 motor in.

    He runs a photo-tour business.

I've seen old MoD Rovers go for cheap in the back of UK-based Land Rover mags.

    "Cheap" meaning like 4-8k pounds

I've been a Land Rover owner for the last 37 years. I can't think of another vehicle that pushes the buttons for me that one of these boxy aluminum workhorses does.

That is spectacularly cool - great patina and nearly identical to my first ever Land Rover (made by Corgi -its about 3-1/2" long). That is a real treasure!

    Yes, it is.
I saw an australian 56 107" 4 years ago in my LR dealer's backyard (Germany). It was for sale. I didn't buy it. Fuck.
I only had eyes for my 110 Hardtop HD back then. :kboom

I decided to drive my 1995 D90 ST to Wyoming and back yesterday... (to pick up a 93 RR) 1000 miles without a problem! Great vehicle! (If anyone would like to post a pic for me send me a pm with your email address)

You will probably be the only one on the block with one of these. 8,700 pounds and it could be yours.
