I don't understand at all what you are up to, but ratchet straps can work well to pull things around and get them in place when trying to "spring" something.
Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, I repeat; use the K100' individual header pipes, buy collector (ceramic coat if you feel the need to do the Queer eye for the straight guy, thing. Although, we already have enough GS guys doing that here already, so no pressure).

Well Kevin you where correct that Staintune header and the subframe aren't going to get along together.
The Dog damn bmw pipe had been repaired once and overheated it cracked right in the middle of the weld ( hate them SOBs). If you got a k 1100 or 1200 it ain't if it's going to crack it's when ! Luke's correct the k100 worked better.
Staintune header and muffler slip joints in header pipes allow expansion no cat engine runs freer !

Left side subframe tube missing, front shot full of rust inhibitor and sealed with an expansion plug keep the moisture out. I'll be keeping an eye on things to see they stay tight and don't move or we will be building a work around.
Yes Luke it is ceramic coated !

Outside of this BS it's Justin's 11th birthday and with fall in the air he's feeling pretty good about things !
Just checking his numbers between sidecars and in his box on the back of the GS he accumulatted about 91-2 K miles on or in motorcycles this is his 6th season !

The problems easy to spot
The problem is it interfered with this header and only worked with BMW header, all the BMW headers crack at entrance to muffler the one that had been there had been poorly repaired once. Weld cracked right in center of weld it had been overheated during the process, poor repair. i like this one it has slip joints and is well made has no cat. I want to ride the dog damn thing no constantly be solving problems !
