    Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of all its beautiful colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail animals are young again.
Those who were sick, hurt or in pain are made whole again.
There is only one thing missing,
they are not with their special person who loved them so much on earth.
So each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up!
The nose twitches! The ears are up!
The eyes are staring and this one runs from the group!
You have been seen and when you and your special friend meet,
you take him in your arms and hug him.
He licks and kisses your face again and again -
and you look once more into the eyes of your best friend and trusting
    pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together never again to be apart.

There's probably a negotiation going on.He had a pretty large ego for such a small dog and that may not have passed away so easily.

there's no getting over losing a special friend...But after many I finally have come to the conclusion that the only cure for the heart break is a little ball of fur.

I know at first it feels like treason but I sincerely believe that my special friend..... and I have had a few... would cheer me on and wish the new arrival the very best.

My sincere condolences as I truly know where your at.

Btw Buck has convinced me of everything in this post.

So did I , DRONE bless his heart warned me this can change directions very fast and it did, but the little guy didn't die of his dodgey heart condition, it appeared he had something in his gut or colon that burst.

I had both my dogs die in the same week. Akin got hit by a car and Rosie ate a rubber glove, got plugged up and didn’t come out of it. It does happen. It took a year, but now I have Woody.!

Sometime in the future Dave, while wandering along the shadows of a country lane, Justin will reappear in your minds eye and bring a much needed smile at just the right time.

Dave ... Sorry for your loss.

The white stuff is more ice than snow, new final drive (2.75) and larger tire work well(probably need a down shift for really spirited passing in traffic) , the nice bit about more aerodynamic road rig is the windage is way less of an issue they slice thru it way easier, most of todays first ride to car wash and coffee was in a 30 mph crosswind and I have no complainants.

Except no dog ! Busy looking.
