Our intrepid adv hacksters have all gone quiet here end of season hmmmmm ! FR700 and his band of Ozzies prepare for there's. I'm palning on more ridding myself real fall color is dragging it's feet here in S MN and may not turn up till next weekend.
My rig's together and quite driveable less the front bumper which is at the powder coaters did a couple hundred last weekend to go hiking in some off road trail systems, Zumbro Bottoms mostly equine trail riding areas.
No finalized plan for a leading link from Claude yet who has plenty to do anyway.I like the EZS fork that twintwin bought inspite of all his troubles with it, but until then my rig is working very well and the 145/80 front tire steers really well onward and forward.DB

Oh please forgive me FR700 I was being sarcastic, I can't believe the hacks forum is this quiet, apparently US the adventurers don't have much to say. I'm disappointed in them. Maybe I should start in on DMC again create a commotion ?DB

Yes I learned that the human condition is slow to change, and most of the sidecar consumers are affluent white folks who aren't necessarily mechanically inclined and don't question someone whose convinced them he's an authority. The curious bit is they are willing to allow that there particular rig was a beta version, sidecars are not software you can't release patches.WTF is that ? You buy a car and have major structural failure you raise hell with the manufacturer apparently not so in the sidecar world.
Apparently if your rig breaks it proves you have done extraordinary things with it and your a cool guy ! And you thought I wasn't paying attention.
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

I got the grey ghost out and ran her around a bit and as usual I wonder if this one shouldn't have been the tug, it's not a real adv so it has the OD 6th transmission, but it's a hot rod and has lots of power.

I switched to 175/65/15 rear tire and tug wheel on the sidecar rig.The little 24" tires are 2mph slower for the same engine speed.
Tomorrows the Swan Ride where the twin cities riders gather for breakfast and ride down to Alma WI and see if any Tundra Swans have stopped on their migration to Chesapeake Bay http://www.wingsoveralma.org/natureeventsresources/tundraswanwatch.html Though in recent years they have moved to other parts of the river valley.DB

Cold and windy day for the twin cities guys and a few of us others to head to Alma WI to look for Tundra Swans.
The truth of the matter is there where allot of Swans across the river on the MN side and they don't really use their original food stop in near Alma much, sw two there when we arrived at 10:15 along way off and they were leaving.

Propably close to a hundred rider showed up in several different groups everything from soup to nuts, mostly Wings, HD, several trikes,2 sidecars.

Intrepid sidecar dog Just N Time, the wind blew 30 gusting to over 45 mph had the sun not been out it would have been miserable.
trip began at 34 degrees and ended at about 54 given all the wind and the beginning of daylight savings time I was glad to get the day over with.DB
