Not unless the nut jobs are correct.

Went up to Snoqualmie summit to enjoy some snow, man was it crowed, never seen that many people up there. Despite the crowds and lots of stuck cars I had a blast.

Had to lay down next to my bike to get this shot, but it turned out decent.

Nice pics! I'd like a little of that snow back in Maine right about now. We get it, then it just melts away the next day.

Very nice pictures. Thanks for posting them. Here in the NE our ski areas usually have almost the same amount of snow by now. This year there are only a few trails open with man made snow. green everywhere else.

I grew up in Joyzee, remember well when the ski trails were the only part of the hill that had snow. Things are a lot different here in the cascades.

As the Burl Ives snow man would say "OOOOOO!! Tell me when it's over!"
Those two shots really tell a story. Boy, I bitch in March when we have a foot of snow. That is epic.
Quick hijack- What's it like along the coast in late March? I'm trying to plan on when I can reasonably pick up a bike I have waiting in Seattle.

Southern Oregon, northern California can be a problem at times, but not too often. It is all about timing, you may have clear roads all the way to Chicago on I-90, or you may have to go all the way down to I-10 to head east. The best plan is flexibility.

Wow. Those pictures are amazing- especially for the time of year.
I'm sending you a PM so I don't highjack this thread any further. When the time for the trip gets nearer I'll resurrect my thread from when I purchased the bike a few weeks ago.
