Anyone going to the LBL 200? Looking for a group to ride with....
I'll be there with a bunch of friends from AL and GA. I'm sure we'll split into a few groups as there are quite a few of us with different skill levels. I'll PM you info..
great ride BTW if you haven't been yet! IMHO it's one of the best DS rides in the south east. saturday is about 150 miles, a lot of it hiking/MTB single track. Last year I rode my 950 but think I'll take the easy route and ride the 450 this year. haven't been riding enough.
Thanks for the info; are you guys riding both days?
Usually we try... last year I was pretty wiped after riding the 950 all day and didn't ride Sunday but probably half of the group did. I'll probably ride Sunday this year.
looks like it's booked up for this year. if anyone knows of a spare pre-registration that's not going to be used, let me know. there's a waiting list but just thought I'd throw it out there for a procrastinating friend or two that are coming up with us. PM me if you know of a spot that opens.. :)
P-Rate, have you hooked up with a group yet? I'll be there both days, but live close enough to get back home Saturday night and come back Sunday.
I am in.
This is gonna be good! Your on my turf now.
What part of the campground are you gonna be in? I will be bringing my enclosed trailer that i made into a toy hauler.
I'm in Virginia Loop 295.
I am in, meeting a couple of buddies from KY who are riding KTM 300 XC's. I will be on my KDX 220. This is my first time riding LBL, my buddies have ridden it in the past. I would like to take my 800XC Tiger but have not changed the stock tires and would be more comfortable with the lighter bike on the first time out.. Hope to see some of you guys there..
there is a ton of woods riding at the LBL. You'll be glad you brought the green machine.
stock tires on a 800xc would suck there. I rode my 950 SE last year and while I had fun, I was pretty worn out after the first day. its about 100 miles of really nice singletrack trails. if it was wet I wouldn't even consider riding a big bike. Might take the 950 again next year will see how this year goes.
riding my 07 450XC this year, #647 if you happen to see me laying on the side of the trail somewhere.
looks like it might be a bit wet saturday. but i'll take some mud over dust any day. :)
Looks like it may be wet Saturday. Definitely want fresh off-road meats. Stock ADV "street knobbies" would be a nightmare.
This will be year #5 for me
I ended up camping on ChromeSux site, so I've got a primitive spot paid for Friday and Saturday night if anyone wants it.
