Total on bike 13,000 miles, over 10,000 this year (I bought the bike used a year ago). 2003 640 Adv. Not a single problem other than a loose wire in a connection that caused the bike to misfire for awhile and then die entirely. Was able to diagnose myself and has run smoothly ever since.

Around 15K, 5K with me on a 2000 Adv. If we're talking engine problems, none that I know of, although I have done a couple upgrades for problem areas.

31,000 miles on my 99 LC4. Pulser coil, clutch cable and water pump seal are the only parts replaced other than normal services. I commute to work on it nearly everyday and take the mirrors off and do the family ride thing in our local deserts 2 or 3 times a month.

There is a LC4 in my town with 63,000 miles on the clock. I have no idea how reliable its been.

I truely use mine as a true DS bike. I hope KTM comes out with an affordable replacement soon.

    Where's Jerome? :evil

His website says he did a 75,000 click service in October; that's over 45,000 miles for the retro crowd.

Does he win the date with Loaded? :evil

21,000 miles, 8,000 since I bought it. I just put a new clutch in and did the bearing swap even though the original looked fine. The only issue I have had is with the carb. The slide is plastic as is the female piece that is pressed into the carb. I guess the years of vibration and some grit that had gotten in there had taken their toll, but the parts were easily replaced and all is well :thumb

    Updated June 2015: 135000km / 84000 miles

    Major work:
Cam followers, water pump & starter clutch at 50K km
Big rebuild, worn big end, piston, valves, cam etc etc at 95K km
Just did the cam followers & water pump again by way of preventive maintenance but hey didn't really need it.

Other stuff the same as any well used dirtbike, wheel & chassis bearings, couple of carb rebuilds.

    Cheers

2000 LC4E, just 5,000 miles. New to me this year, got it with 2,200 miles.

Does major internal cleaning after total submersion count as a repair...?

    Runs like a top...:thumb

    2000 Adventure since new.

64000 km - 40000 miles - cam bearing failure - main shaft bearing failure

Those two are the most expensive ones.

02 Adventure bought new in 04. 21,000 miles to date, main shaft bearing just went while travelling through Europe. Cost me 800 Euro to get fixed, but I'm still happy!
