Mine chaffed my neck really bad during vegas to reno. I ended up just putting duct tape on the spots. I think sports tape would be perfect unless its your whole neck.

mine chafes a little. If it gets real bad you could try putting some moles skin on your neck where it chafes or try putting something on the brace itself in that spot.

    No chaffing here. :nah

    Is it adjusted properly?

Does you jersey/shirt have seams that might be making hot spots?

Are you wearing it with a chest protector?

How high of a turtle neck does it need to be? Would "mock" turtle neck height work?

Have you got the right inserts to size it for you ?? that can make a big difference if you need the larger insert

Something sounds not right with either fitment or how you are wearing it

Otherwise never heard anyone say it chaffs.

Mine has been perfect from minute 1

yeah its set up great, where it rubs is just the sides of my neck, if it were just a bit wider itd be perfect but no adjustment there. like frog only time ive had an issue was durring vegas to reno or after a 6 + hour day.

I wear a buff under mine, I can feel it touch my neck when I move my head around but it doesnt chafe with the buff on. I have worn it for 11 days straight in temps up to 43degC (110F).

    Me on a Saturday...

A buff is the thing that the Survivor people wear. A really thin tube of fabric. Works great.

Pretty much, you can get smaller ones that fit around the neck just nicely.

When it's cold I wear a long underwear shirt that comes up high but when its not cold I use a bandanna both fixed the problem.
