Guess what was in the mail today.

It took a bit longer than I would have expected but that's on USPS/Canada Post, not you.

I'll see if I can install tonight and take a few pix.

    Thanks.

    Done.

Here is a pic of the stock setup.

The tap you see that doesn't look normal is where I pick up juice to run my fuzeblock as it's a keyed source.

With the base removed from the Cyclops light you can see how easy it is to install into the housing,

    Everything tucked into the housing,

Simply twist the bulb into place, connect the wires and Bob's yer uncle.

BEFORE. (with PIAA blue 55 watt bulb I think)

In real life it's WAY brighter than the stockish bulb. And I mean WAY brighter. BIG thanks to Darryl for all the work that has been put into this product.

Darryl, just wondering why the 2 leds are positioned on the Y axis as opposed to the X axis?

On the X the reflector would shift the output right and left?

Just a quick question. are these blubs "canbus" friendly? Would love to hook one up on my R1200 GSA.

Thanks for the pics Kelsow. What did you do with respect to the plastic cap? Does it fit over the fan, and did you have to drill any holes in it?

The bulbs are canbus friendly for me anyway and yes, I did drill a few small holes at the 6:00 position to let some air in and it fits over the bulbs fan easily.

No One ever gets stuck by dealing with Cyclops Adventure Sports.
If the bulbs do not work for any reason, return them in working order with no damage for a full refund of the purchase price. This does not include shipping cost.
We cant be more fair than that.

    Thank you.
    Great write up!!
It was found that the orientation of the bulb worked best on most reflectors being on the Y axes

The 1190 uses H11 bulbs, I mistakenly thought it used H7's :cry

We have not seen any issues with canbus on any bike, several of these bulbs are in use on GS1200's

I installed the bulb into my 2011 R1200 GSA today. What I discovered is you don't need to clip it in at all. The cap presses into it from behind holding it in perfectly. It's easily more secure then the stock clip can muster. My cap is cutout from a previous HID install btw. I haven't ridden with it at night yet but my friends report that during the day it's pretty bright!! My previous 55 watt hid setup ran to hot and was clouding the interior of my lens. This is the cure. Thanks! :clap

All excited to get better light from my new 1290 Super Duke. Ordered up a H4 LED ...quick shipment, sturdy dual box packaging, easy install. Made even more easy because of the ease of getting to the light on the 1290 SD. It's a naked after all. .....but the light blinks on/off in about 1 to 2 second intervals. Has a lamp out message on the info panel....can bus problem I reckon. Anyone know of a work around? Fits well, looks so nice and white.....just won't stay on.

Re-installed the OEM H4 and all is well....except it's kinda yellow light :puke1
I'd have thought the 1190 having the same instruments..( very similar ) would have suffered from the same issue? I searched but didn't see any info on this.

But are there alternative international shipping rates??(residing in Singapore) The shipping alone is about the cost of the blubs..:huh:huh:huh:huh

    Thank You for this feedback.
The 1190 uses the H11 so none have been installed yet.
Its Odd that the BMW is working fine but the KTM appears to be an issue, To my knowledge you are the first install in a canbus KTM.
Maybe I can get my friends down at the local KTM dealer to let me check one out. Hopefully we can figure something out.

Feel free to return the bulb

I wish we could offer better shipping rates. Unfortunately we can not control USPS prices.

Hi Off Road Ryder, is anyone selling these bulbs of yours south of the border (Mexico)?
