This is what I am worried about in my case. The bucket in a 750 Honda Nighthawk is pretty shallow.

I don't see any issue with the Nighthawk, although I have tried to fit one. you need about 1,25 inches clearance from the bulb base(where the clips are) to the back of the fan box.
The issue with the Gs800 is not the room in the back for the bulb, its the hole in the headlight surround being close to the same Dia. as the fan box, once the bulb is in you cant reach the clips.
We will work on a resolution for that.

I believe I am good in that case. I thought I needed quite a bit more room. Thanks.

    Darryl,
Since there is a fan I guess things gets hot...any concern about this heat damaging the reflector? thanks.

absolutely none. The fan cools the driver not the emitters, not a huge amount of heat coming off the emitters, in fact I would say its much lower than the Halogen bulbs.

Maybe I missed it -- just curious, but how many watts does the fan use, or is it included in the numbers you have already posted for low and high beam ??

    Thanks ...

    Ok...I have a KTM 950 Adventure, 06 R1200GS Adventure, 02 R1150RT, 2007 Polaris Sportsman 800.

What do you need for tests??? Or what's an approximate into production date????

I think these would be perfect for my KLX250 - might reduce the load enough to allow for a bit of heated gear.

If you're willing to sell one now prior to testing being complete, please let me know. I have a DR650 and would need an H4 style set up.

Wifeys DR200 needs an LED - H4 for the same reason.
Looks like the watts left over will be enough to power gloves :clap

Bring one to Barlow WITH you, willya?

The testing has been going great. we are moving forward. :clap
There will be a delay in the H7 bases. Those will need to be retooled so it may be a month or so. Most likely more on the so..:huh

The bases available to start will be H4 H6
They will be available right around the first of March.

Pricing is 59.95 each with a 18 month warranty.

If there is a desire from you guys we can offer a pre production sale discount, would that be of interest??

Note that just like a HID conversion these are NOT DOT approved and are for off road use only

:D Add me to the list for an H4 led for my 950SE.
Question, i already have hid h4 hi/lo on my toyota tacoma which i had to adjust lowering both headlights and for the past 3 years have never been flashed from opposing traffic, will these bulbs be "safe" on a truck for "street" use :evil
disregard squadrons on photo, notice the hid bulbs are not much offensive viewed from front

From what I have seen there is less glare with these LEDs than with the HIDs that I compared them too.

I can not comment on street use. We would like to stay in business.
These are sold as off road use products:deal
