Looking for recommendations on LED auxiliary lights. Perhaps there is already a good thread but I could not find it.

There are several threads in the vendor section. Imo, this guy here sells the best of the best and does not sugar coat anything and tells it the way it is. They are more expensive but worth it long term.

take a look at ADVMonster LED lights: Sanjoh 'ak. John is an amazing guy to deal with really amazing and his lights are dear-eye-burning bright!

moreover his prices are more than fair! (not counting that we get 10% discount as advmembers :evil).

Rigids are the best bang for the buck on US made LEDS ... IMO, YMMV.

Read carefully and you'll see Rigids are designed and assembled in the U.S. There's probably some assembly done overseas too. I have not found any statement that they are U.S. made.

And they're heavy. And the brackets break. And the warranty fellow doesn't do what he says he'll do. The light is OK.

Another vote for ADVMonster LEDs. My ADV 30's over ride my high beams, these flame throwers are true off road beams! John is terrific to deal with and ships fast as over the counter. :clap

Are the ADVMonster LEDs rugged and waterproof? How do they compare to other LEDs? I have had VisionX and Denali LEDs in the past.

The new generation of led lights (ADVMonsters and the ones I mentioned ^^) are brighter than any of the Denali models (and yes, they are rugged/waterproof). Don't know about VisionX?

I think TwistedThrottle (Denali) and VisionX purchase their LEDs from the same manufacturer.

I ordered the Cyclops lights. I'm in the process of installing them now, but the build quality is impressive.

I am in the market for aux lights too. Wish I could find a vendor to design a harness and sell lights to my specs as far as what I want to achieve . There are several out there and aft awhile they all start to look the same.

Contact Daryl at Cyclops. His stuff works and he rides what he sells, and yes, he rides.
