What I thought was that they might not touch it- but I bet one of the tech guys on the factory team does for them.

I can believe that Jarvis, Walker, etc. ride with most of the same parts as the factory ships. And they are probably close to the design weight for riders. But I expect that the clickers are twisted here and there.

They are paid to ride factory bikes. Unlike in road racing, where there are factory-one-off specials, at least the hard enduro guys ride the parts the factory puts on. Jarvis doesn't even put real brush guards to keep the levers from breaking when he drops it.

Take my advice about suspension setup as soon as I've beat Jarvis, Walker, Young, etc.

    Graham Jarvis:
    http://enduro21.com/index.php/extreme/494-my-ride-graham-jarvis-husqvarna-te-300

    Or to make it easier:
Sporting Rockstar Energy colours for 2016, Graham Jarvis’ Husqvarna TE 300 two-stroke is looking delish.
Relatively unchanged for 2016 - well if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it - Jarvis’ TE 300 is pretty much identical to any TE 300 rolled off Husqvarna’s production line.
Preferring stock, the engine is standard, suspension revalved and softened off a bit and an FMF pipe is added.
To ensure the clutch meets the demands of places like Erzberg or Romaniacs, a Hinson basket, plates and pressure plate is used.
Graham has switched to a set of titanium Raptor foot pegs for extra grip and stability, Neken handlebars and grips while GoldenTyre provide the rubber.
Once matched with Graham’s unnatural and god-like talent to destroy any extreme terrain in his path and you’ve got yourself a world-beating extreme enduro package…

I believe Graham, Jonny, etc could ride my 1971 Yamaha CT1 and still use their god-like talent to beat all mere mortals

See, I'm older than even The General, I had the CT1 when I was in college. It was a fun bike. I think I had to replace the piston every 2000 or so miles. Seemed normal at the time.

I guess that saves me from buying it.

If Frenchy is welding your exhaust, does he have a tig welder ? That worn out thin ass pipe you got on there is going to suck to weld and probably crack on the next ride unless he spends way too much time pre heating and cooling it properly.
