    Thanks for the write up Shady. All I had ever seen before was the smallish dirt bikes out in the way back. Appreciate the new perspective!

    Super report and great pics and yes, what a great way to get away from winter.... btw, the 8th pic after the "Furnace Creek" sign... that rock formation looks like a giant fossilized lizard or something!!

    The bathroom in the Furnace Creek gas station has something about it that is spectacular. I'm not sure if it's the decor or the attention to detail with it beautiful architecture. Perhaps it's the way the light reflects on the toilet bowls in the morning sun or the way they engineered the piping to melodically flush in synchronicity with the urinals or....

    ...now I remember. It's AIR CONDITIONED!

    I had to strip down to my undies and just stand there for about 20 minutes to let my core temp recover or I was going to die. The most beautiful bathroom ever!
