This is another scrambler project from my friend Georg...
WTF is going on with the fork gaiters? What a distraction!
..and is the petcock stuck between off and reserve?
Very cool bikes... Keep them coming as they will help me decide what to do with a recently purchased '73 R75 LWB bike.
Most all those bikes make me cringe. I love to see bikes modified to go down the road or trail like a mofo but for look's sake? It's a waste to my eyes let alone the worse for getting from point A to B. The worst of two worlds. About the only customs I have ever appreciated at all is a good mid/late seventies party van where the water bed doubles as a giant bong! I and I mawn!
I feel so much better now LIKING the customs.
Great thread. Now get to building
I want to know what those tires are?
It is all the rave!
I think they are Heidenau K60...
A bmw my dad found in the south of Gzermany, with Münch front brake set-up
From Untitled Motorcycle... a small garage in London...
They call the silver one "scrambler UM2" and the green one "street UM3"
the other one...
some other builds from the guys in Germany...
(don't have details in any of these)
Nice bike, but what happens if he gets a pebble stuck between his rear fender and the tire.?
I picture a little more clearance when I build mine.
work in progress from another german fellow !!!
a scrambler kit from Japan...
(not really my cup of tea)
So a scrambler is a bike that is not really off road like a GS? Then my bike fits in - this is not a show piece, just a bike made to work in this environment.
This is a guy that really wants a BMW.....
(real picture btw)
