Man - 40 some posts so far and not a single bike sucks. They all look great. So much for Flug and his thread. Keep em coming!
It's not a gel pad, it's a sheepskin buttpad. See http://www.alaskaleather.com/ for more info.

I submitted this picture in the Flugs GS's that suck thread over one month ago, right before Jim Rowley posted the chick in the G-string and I have yet to be judged. (For those of you who have not seen the little Lolita just go to page 96 of that thread) I am sure posting the same picture here will adversely effect the outcome and cause my bike to suck but there are nicer bikes that have been deemed suckola for lesser reasons.<o></o>
So here she is, we had just ridden the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Loop Road</st1:address></st1:Street> through the northern edge of Everglades NP with my buddy on his R12GS. The picture was taken in front of the old Monroe Station on the south side of the Tamiami Trail between Naples and Miami, I am sure most of you have seen it at least once in your lives unless you were looking on the north side of the road for alligators.
As you can see with your own eyes, the bike has the Vario side bags, Best Rest Skid Plate, Best Rest Splash Guard, BMW Head Guards, BMW Engine Guard, Touratech Hard Steering Parts, Touratech Cockpit Cover with Power outlet, Touratech Headlight Guard and lastly, a BRAKE! LED Taillight. Oh, and the green wire lizard on the mirror to remind me of my 3 year old son (causes me think before doing really stupid stuff..) I have since removed the license plate bracket and lugage rack deally. I am planning on doing a GPS, some PIAA lights on a Terranova bar and maybe even pinstripes on the beak.......
All them bikes look the same to me. Butt ugly!!! Thank god for my 1150 GS.
I love this bike.
I own both, you don't know what your talking about. Go make yourself usefull and head on over to the Buell Ulysses threads will ya. Thay at least, deserve thrashing.
All of the bikes look gorgeous to me!! Keep it coming everyone...I need something to hold me over until May!
Hey now - This is a positive thread. No negativity allowed.
Well, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black. At least they don't surge and ping.....
I am very fortunate that I have the ability to buy whatever bike I want. I rode the R1150 Adventure and the R1200GS, I am not sure I bought the purdyist one but I did get the best one; at least IMO.
Looks like your buddy is taking a leak in the backgroud. Nice shot otherwise.........
Ha ha thats me
Dude! You can't be posting my schweet ass ride without my permission!!
Oh well.....go ahead.
Would rather be riding than sitting here at work....TGIF!
Actually, it's in Mansfield.
Dec. '04 GS (Christmas gift from my lady wife....) Remus Revolution Titanium exhaust can, Motorrad Concepts hugger and GPS mount (+ RAM Mount), Hein Gericke Tuareg tank bag and rack bag, Nippy Norman's Fender Extender, Laminar Lip.
Just about to head out on track.
My 2005 1200GS
My new truck and my new bike: cause and effect I guess
Thanks for the pics guys, and for making me even more homesick. No pics with me here in the desert, but mine is an 05, yellow, non abs, spoked, with GS tank bag, and all system cases....more to come and pics when I can get them...
Would love to hear some feedback on the Corbin seat too...thx
