    Thanks Scott!
third oilhead, Just like any other bike I owned, It will take at least a year or so to decide if this is what I want. The height doesn't bother me at lights or anywhere else, so far. I ride w/ the seat up in the highest position.
    I'm shooting for a 30K test ride...:)

Just had a great ride down the coast of Whidbey Island - WA. Temps in the fifties & a nice twisty road. Mid January island cruising.

Well not quite a Adventure photo ...

But this is where the F650GS I use to have spent last winter ... At least with the bike in the house I could get my car in the garage.

R1150GS - in the near future .. (Hopefully)

I was taking the picture, so you don't get to see my ugly mug.

I've put 37,500 miles on the seat of this one so far, and I think I'm gonna keep it awhile longer.

    Hi,

Mine's the Wunderlich Touring screen (only one size available). Much better than the stock screen if you talk about buffeting (I think it's called that way - no more shaking of the head at high speeds on the german autobahn) Only no improvement for the noise, but that's probably the helmet (Caberg) (I'm 185 cm / 6')

Wunderlich Touring here also...I really like it too. :):

I know it doesn't provide the coverage of the popemobile, but looks are important to me. It works far better than stock and like Flying Dutchman, I believe it works best in the lowest position. The picture I posted shows it in the middle position.

Besides, I wasn't going to pay Aeroflow $425 for a shield!
