my 1993 XR650L. 99% chance it will be going on Craigslist within the next week or 2.
Bought my first bike, the long wait is over ... well, almost over - currently doing my driving licence. Hopefully couple of weeks and I can take it for a spin :). But "winter is coming" and most likely no long rides in this year.
Cant wait to put the ADV rider sticker and couple of thousand miles on this thing .
phew. nice beautiful brand new machine. I *HIGHLY* recommend you buy a cheap used beater bike in the 250-650 cc range, something naked (eg, no plastic fairings), thats pre-dropped, and learn to ride on it, as you almost certainly WILL drop your bike a few times at low to no speed in the first couple months, and it would be shame to scrape up that purdy thing. and expensive (mirrors, bar ends, pegs, brake/clutch levers all cost $$$ on beemers).
when you're comfortable riding, you can probably sell said beater-bike for what you paid for it.

Thanks for your advice and concern, but I am planning to invest my money to all kinds of crash bars instead of the another bike. And I don´t mind some scratches here and there ... it is GS after all :).

Very Nice - they made some nice cosmetic changes from my 04' (as well as more cc's)
I've ridden this thing across the United States... I love it to death but I need something more comfortable for traveling. I made it happen though, with a bad back and a few times with injuries!
My Honda X4, still getting the custom treatment bit by bit...
